It is with immense pleasure and anticipation that we extend a warm welcome to you for the National Conference of the 41 Club and Tangent Associations of Great Britain, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Aviemore. As we gather in this picturesque setting, nestled within the heart of the Scottish Highlands, we embrace the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the spirit of fellowship and continued friendship that unites us.
Conference Dates 24th to 27th April 2025
The 2025 Conference will take place between 24th and 27th April 2025 in Aviemore in the Highlands of Scotland.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 41 Club and Tangent National Conference and AGMs within the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.

The Programme
Thursday 24th April 2025
The Welcome Ceilidh with a 2 course dinner will take place in the Osprey Function Room within the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.
Ceilidh (/ĖkeÉŖli/) is the Scottish word for a social event with Scottish music and traditional dancing.
You will be guided through the steps by our dance master and in no time, will be reeling and dashing. The band will also play more modern music just in case Stripping the Willow is not your thing!

Friday 25th April 2025
The 41 Club National Council meeting takes place today.
Also available for your entertainment are the Golf Tournament and a number of organised tours.
In the evening the Osprey Function Room will host the āTouch of Tartanā Joint Presidentsā Ball which will be one of the highlights of the weekend, with a Show Band and maybe a surprise or two.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in their Tartan. We can point you in the direction of kilt hire if you wish.
Saturday 26th April 2025
The 41 Club AGM will take place in the Auditorium at the resort; the Tangent Club AGM will take place in the Peregrine Suite there.
The Tangent lunch will be available to those have booked it.
The Final Night āOld Macdonald Had Aā¦ā party will take place in the Osprey Function room with Fancy Dress Parade and Prize giving.

Departure day with final farewells.

Golf Tournament
To be held on the Macdonald Spey Valley Championship Golf Course.
Transport is available from the Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The Golf Club is a 5 minute drive away from the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.
Start time: The first Tee has been booked for 9:40am and people will be going off as a three ball with an 8 minute interval.

Hairy Coo (Highland Cow) Safari
Visit the Rothiemurchas farm and meet some wonderful Hairy Coos in the company of a friendly and knowledgeable Ranger who will call them over. The Hairy Coos will come right up to the fence and be happy to pose for hundreds of photos!
Participants should wear suitable outdoor clothing, underfoot can be muddy so boots or stout shoes are recommended.
Distillery Visit
Visit a local distillery to find out how Scotland produces its national drink. Discover the distillation process and maybe sample the product.

Travelling from the south follow the M6 and the M74 to Stirling. Thereafter follow the A9 to Inverness, turning off at the Aviemore B9152 junction. Follow the B9152 into Aviemore. Inverness Airport is approximately 40 miles from the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.

Conference 2025 will take place within the Macdonald Aviemore Resort, situated at the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands
The resort offers 4 and 3 star hotel accommodation and Woodland Lodges.
The HQ hotel for the Conference weekend is the Highland Hotel.
We have secured special hotel room rates at the four star Resort hotels, the Highland Hotel and the Morlich Hotel, for those attending the conference. The cost is Ā£154 per room per night, bed and breakfast.
